Good news for TEN today with full season orders for CBS shows Madam Secretary, NCIS: New Orleans, Scorpion and Stalker.
They follow other season orders for How to Get Away with Murder, Gotham, Black-ish, The Flash and Jane the Virgin.
What isn’t yet clear is if all 4 titles win a further 9 episodes.
NCIS: New Orleans has averaged 18.16 million viewers, and a 2.8 in adults 18-49.
Madam Secretary is the most watched scripted series on Sunday nights in the US with 13.53 million viewers, averaging 1.8 in adults 18-49.
Scorpion is averaging 15.17 million viewers, 3.6 in adults 18-49 and is Monday’s most-watched drama.
All three are currently airing on TEN.
Stalker, with Maggie Q and Dylan McDermott, is averaging 9.49 million viewers, 2.1 in adults 18-49. Nine had previously indicated it would fast-track this title but it is yet to appear.
Meanwhile the US also has its first cancelled new show of the fall season, ABC’s Manhattan Love Story featuring Jake McDorman and Analeigh Tipton as a new couple in New York City. It was yanked after just 4 episodes.

@ GuanoLad …Your post reads like that is an actual fact …when actually it is just your opinion…as it is mine when I say I really like Scorpion.
Great shows flail in the ratings, and crap like “Scorpion” succeed. What a broken system.
These shows do rate for ten. Both scorpion and madam secretary average between 700k to 800k on consolidated weekly ratings. Not spectacular but def solid ratings.
The hollywoodreporter is reporting that all four shows were given the standard ”back nine” order, meaning they will be having a full 22-episode season.
I can’t wait for Stalker. Looks very, very good.
@ Jduder…I am with you….the three shows on TEN I really enjoy…. 🙂 . good news…for me.
And average of 1.8 18-49s is a bit misleading at episode 4 of Madam Secretary. It’s made up of a 3 something for the premiere and some 1.5/1.4s. It has good total numbers and quiet few of them are 50-54.
These shows do give Ten lots of episodes that will rate in the 400ks, which is better than 300k. But its not going to turn their balance sheet around dramatically.
And the worst one rates the best!
All shows I actually like. This is very good news!
I really like Madam Secretary, good storylines and acting. Nothing beats The Good Wife for me though!
littleboybob stole my thunder.
10 aint CBS and Oz aint the USA. They’re bombing this season and will be worse next year.
uhhmmm it’s only good news if these shows actually rate for TEN. In other words, no good news here. Next.
