Robert Irwin joins Discovery Kids

The new Discovery Kids channel launches in November dedicated solely to the education of primary school children aged 5-12.

2014-10-10_0117Robert Irwin will join the new Discovery Kids channel with his local production, Wild But True.

The series premiering in January explores the science of biomimicry, showcasing how science and technology have been influenced by nature. It also features 13-year-old Queensland science student Isabel Yamazaki.

Discovery Kids launches on November 3rd as Australia’s only television channel dedicated solely to the education of primary school children aged 5-12.

The channel will feature programming designed to be fun and educational and features 100% closed captioned to help strengthen literacy skills and vocabulary development.
