Solid ratings week for Seven

Ratings: Seven had a convincing ratings win last week, but tellingly, there were only 6 shows above 1 million viewers.

Last week was a convincing win by Seven after several weeks of tight finishes.

Network:
Seven: 32.4
Nine: 26.4
ABC: 18.7
TEN: 17.6
SBS: 4.9

As Daylight Saving takes hold, there were only six shows above one million viewers, three each for Seven and Nine.

On Friday and Saturday no show topped 900,000.

The X Factor snared the top 3 rankings for the week with 1.55m for The Winner Announced -yet it remains the lowest ever TXF finale on Seven. Next were The Force (1.13m), Seven News (Sun: 1.03m) and Border Security (961,000).

The Big Bang Theory (1.14m) was best for Nine followed by 60 Minutes (1.08m) and Nine News (Sun: 1.03m).

Australian Story (901,000), ABC News (Sun: 889,000) and New Tricks (860,000) led ABC’s week.

The Project (7pm: 667,000) topped TEN’s week followed by Modern Family (664,000) and Scorpion (660,000).

On SBS ONE it was Greeks Romans Viking: The Founders of Europe (323,000), Battle of Kings: Bannockburn (248,000) and The Fall (209,000) were most popular.

It’s also been a while since Seven also won the demos 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54.

Seven won every night of the week except Saturday, pipped by Nine. ABC bettered TEN on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Seven was victorious in all 5 metro cities.

There are 5 more weeks remaining in the ratings year.
