The Thursday Night Sport Show host Mel McLaughlin has been awarded by the Women’s Health Women in Sport Awards.
She picked up the Person of Sporting Words award on Tuesday night.
This week Mclaughlin and Thursday Night Sport Show co-hosts Sam Mac and Mark Howard talk to special guest Mark Webber.
The former Formula One star joins us fresh from a podium finish in the World Endurance Championship in Japan on Sunday and is in town for the 2014 Tissot Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend, which will broadcast live on TEN.
In a career that saw him drive in 215 races for Minardi, Jaguar, Williams and Red Bull Racing, Webber won nine Grands Prix, took 13 pole positions and finished on the podium on 42 occasions.
Webber will also be joined by TEN Sport’s Matt White to talk Bathurst, Formula One, MotoGP and all things motorsport as we head into the pointy end of the racing season.
Also this week, we review the AFL Trade Week, preview the weekend’s Caulfield Cup with our in-form expert Anthony Mithen, plus we discuss professional coaching in sport and loads more.
9:30pm Thursday on ONE.

Good show and panel, but just feels like a ladbrokes add. Enough is enough with the betting…I won’t watch it again.
This is also on Friday’s at 10am if anyone misses/can’t watch the live (to EDST anyway) 9.30pm show.
This show should be promoted on ten so people know about it.
I did not pick up on this show….usually watching multi channels…just went to Tenplay…and no catchup wtf…..
I will have to watch live on Thursday…if I remember..
I’ve enjoyed the show so far, the ladbrokes component of the show wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it may be. Good to see that Matt White will be on the show this week, as well as Webber. David, any idea of what the first two shows rated by any chance?
Killy: 33,000 last week.
