12 Comments:

  1. Watched The Bachelor final on 10, then Big Brother via HDD Recorder slightly delayed.
Recorded Madam Secretary on 10 and Masters of Sex on SBS30.
Prefered the other girl to win but I guess it is Blakes choice in the end. Good luck to both of them 🙂

  2. Julian Cress admitted on Reality Check that The Block is presented as a soap opera where the drama is not the renovation but the interaction of a bunch of people living on top of eachother.

Any drop in ratings reflects more on the storyline and drama for a particular episode.

  3. The Block number one run has finally ended and that by a programme by Channel 10! – Is this a record for a programme to be Australia’s number programme watched in a row this year?

I expect there will be huge numbers for the final for The block.

Also noted that although dancing with the stars hit over one million viewers on Tuesday it did not show up in the important Demo’s at all and Big Brother who had less than 400,000 viewers but appeared in two of the Demo’s So based on this alone BB is doing well and nine will be pleased.

  4. Secret Squirrel

Wow, nearly half a million people tuned in to see the result of a show that they didn’t care enough about to watch preceding days. That’s an increase of about 50% on yesterday’s numbers for The Bachelor.

Did anyone here watch Madam Secretary and, more to the point, was it any good?

  5. Network Ten have done very well this year in the reality department. The Final episode of Masterchef garnered 1.65m (bulk of the episode) and 1.7m (winner announced)… these numbers blew most people away seeing it utterly failed in 2013. And now, another bumper rating for the finale of the bachelor… 1.374m is fantastic! Let’s hope channel ten can grow a stronger audience for Recipe to Riches. I can see mounting concern for the rating of BB and the Block. The Block should be getting at least 1.3m at this end of the competition, but i think the absurd fighting on the show is slowly diminishing the audience. Let’s hope the rating for both BB and the block improve, or there may be trouble next year!

  6. A good night for ten. A good result for madam secretary which I really enjoyed. Tens problem is they have no consistency. They have a few shows that will do good numbers every now and then.
