image004Next week Nat Geo Wild premieres a new local series, Outback Rangers, filmed in Kakadu.

Deep in the rugged country of Northern Australia, lies Kakadu National Park. 20,000 square kilometres of beautiful ancient wilderness dominated by rock escarpments, massive wetlands, and inhabited by aboriginals for over 40 centuries.

It takes a team of rangers fighting floods, fire, feral animals and deadly crocodiles to keep to keep the national park safe.

Travelling by airboats, quad bikes, and choppers, it’s a high-risk job that involves a balancing act of preservation and control across an unforgiving land.

With breath-taking cinematography and colourful characters, Outback Rangers takes viewers inside one of the most remote and beautiful places on Earth.

Tuesdays at 8.30pm from 4 November on Nat Geo WILD.
