US comedy series Sullivan & Son has been axed by TBS after three seasons.
Set in a Pittsburgh bar, it revolved around Steve Sullivan (Steve Byrne), the son of owner (Dan Lauria) and the grandson of its founder, who surprises his Irish-American father and Korean-American mother (Jodi Long) by taking over the bar.
The Cheers-like series has been airing late nights in Australia on Nine.
TBS also cancelled comedy Men at Work after three seasons earlier this year.

Never even heard of this US show, didn’t even realize it was on Nine.
Late night filler of no particular merit.
I had never even heard of it!
Noooooo!! What is with the US lately cancelling all my shows. First it was Franklin & Bash, than Perception, and now Sullivan & Son. I just hope Nine plays season 3 after finishing season 2 and not have a 12 month hiatus like last time.
