US actor Ryan Eggold, who plays Tom Keen in The Blacklist is attending the Melbourne Cup today as a guest of Channel Seven.
The actor will be hitting the Birdcage before travelling to Sydney for press duties for the US drama.
“I’ve never been to Australia and jumped at the opportunity to go because it’s somewhere I’ve always wanted to see. I’ve met many an Aussie, heard many beautiful things and am excited to see this part of the world,” he said.
Seven has traditionally hosted US guests at the Cup including stars from Revenge, Desperate Housewives and Downton Abbey.
