Doctor Who: Nov 9

It's the season final of Doctor Who this Sunday.

2014-11-07_1705It’s the season final of Doctor Who this Sunday in “Death in Heaven” written by Steven Moffat, the second of a two-part storyline.

The episode stars Peter Capaldi, Jenna Coleman, Samuel Anderson, Michelle Gomez, Chris Addison, Jemma Redgrave and Ingrid Oliver.

With Cybermen on the streets of London, old friends unite against old enemies and the Doctor takes to the air in a startling new role. Can the mighty UNIT contain Missy?

As the Doctor faces his greatest challenge, sacrifices must be made before the day is won.

Should be a big finale. Don’t suppose we will get any shift from Peter Capaldi’s decidedly grumpy Time Lord? A U-turn would make a nice pay-off.

Airs 7am AEDT Sunday and 7:40pm on ABC.

  1. Hopefully the new season won’t be all about the Doctors companion as this one was, it’s called Doctor Who not the Doctors companion, we never liked the Clara Oswald character

  2. ***Spoilers warning for those who haven’t caught up with last week’s episode*** I friggin’ love Michelle Gomez as Missy. As a DW fan for the last 31 years, I think she’s the best Master since Roger Delgado and her performance richly entitles the character to be called The Master, in preference to Missy.

  3. I know many have complained about the writing this season but I have enjoyed the new Doctor.

Best part was ABC simulcasting the entire season early Sunday mornings. Really hope they can do it for the Christmas special next month. And of course future seasons.

Those setting PVRs don’t forget it’s a 60 min long final, up from the usual 45 min.
