Nine scores runs on Sunday

Ratings: News, Cricket, Sunday Night & Countdown performed well last night, with Nine easily taking the win.

2014-11-24_1007Nine Network has easily won Sunday thanks to its News and Cricket combo. The cricket’s 1.17m was the highest rating session of the 2014/15 season to date.

Sunday Night did well for Seven and Countdown: Do Yourself a Favour was another chartbuster for ABC.

Nine pulled a 34.8% then Seven 26.6%, TEN 17.3%, ABC 16.8% and SBS 4.6%.

Nine News topped the night with 1.25m viewers for Nine then One Day Cricket (1.17m / 796,000) and movie: Superman IV (496,000). Gotham was 283,000 in 2 cities.

Seven News (1.2m) led for Seven then Sunday Night (1.17m), Surveillance Oz (870,000), The Big Adventure (447,000). Resurrection was just 250,000 and Castle 179,000.

Modern Family was 597,000 for TEN (another 548,000 in 4 cities), then Scorpion (487,000), movie: Life of Pi (450,000), TEN Eyewitness News (406,000) and just 245,000 for Bondi Rescue.

Countdown: Do Yourself a Favour (919,000) was another winner for ABC then Cilla (728,000), ABC News (709,000) and movie: Healing (296,000). cwas 252,000.

Dead Famous DNA scored 194,000 for SBS ONE followed by SBS World News (158,000), Churchill: A Giant in the Century (95,000) and Killing Kennedy (86,000).

GO!’s movie Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs topped multichannels at 286,000.

  1. The ABC should keep making shows about shows they use to make when they actually had money to make shows. It should keep their heads above water until the labour Govt gets back in.

  2. So enjoyed “Do Yourself a Favour”- fantastic to see it do so well in the ratings.
    A shame it was only 2 short eps – so many memories and so much material that it could easily have run into 4 or 5.

    An also really enjoying Cilla afterwards – wasn’t expecting much but it is actually really good.
    The two leads are excellent and very endearing.
