Sean O’Brien, Channel Nine Adelaide Managing Director, said: “This will be the fundraising event of the year and the team here at Channel Nine is excited to get behind the appeal to raise important money for the kids of SA.

“We have a long and proud tradition of supporting South Australian organisations, events and charities, and when we looked at ways we could help even more the decision to create an annual appeal was a very easy one.

“In April next year we will bring some of the biggest names in the television and entertainment industry together for this live event, all with one goal: to raise as much money as possible.

“This event could not happen without the tireless work of the Women’s and Children’s Hospital Foundation, The Advertiser and Sunday Mail, or the generous support from the Government of South Australia who have committed to the appeal for the next three years.

“We are now on the search for corporate sponsors and partners to make the appeal even more successful.”

The appeal will air Live on Monday, April 6th.
