Under-the-radar housemate Ryan has won Big Brother 2014.

ryn14Under-the-radar housemate Ryan has won Big Brother 2014.

The 26 year old graphic designer from Sydney defeated Travis to take out the $200,000 prize, with his laid-back style winning him plenty of fans.

“It’s been such a journey. I can’t even describe what the feeling is,” he said.

“I just want to say thanks. Non of this would be possible without you guys voting.

“It’s definitely going to change my life.”

“Massiv” Travis took second place with his larrikin personality, rewarded with $10,000.

Both males entered the house together at the season launch.

20 year old Queenslander Skye, widely regarded as the series favourite, took third place with a $5000 prize.

The evening included all 22 housemates reunited, with plenty of highlights packages looking back at the romances, conflicts and challenges that spanned the 80 day season. It also included the annual news wrap and video messages from former favourites Chrissie Swan, Reggie Bird, Ryan Fitzgerald, Tim Dormer and Ben Norris.

But while the 11th season has been the lowest rating so far for Nine, it still scored in the younger demographics.

While not formally announcing a return season, Nine is inviting future housemates to register their interest online.

“I’m Sonia Kruger, it’s time to go…. have a baby…. and from everyone here at Big Brother thank you and goodnight.”

  1. My comment wasn’t approved by a moderator, but now it has been publicly discussed by Ryan.

Remember, he never auditioned. He was asked to be part of BB after auditioning for the block.

Personally the way he has discussed Big Brother as rubbish TV. Insulting all of us who have enjoyed the show over the years who think he is a terrible winner. That is the icing on the cake.

Went on the show because he was asked. Always thought he was better than it all. Did nothing. Some how won and then despite that, still sh*ts on the show.
