2014-11-22_0044The Today show will broadcast live from Frankston on Monday morning, with Karl Stefanovic, Lisa Wilkinson, Richard Wilkins plus Harrison Craig and St Kilda stars.

Viewers will get a sneak peek at an amazing sand sculpture from the team at Sandstorm Events, who create works of wonder on the Frankston foreshore each year.

Fans will also get to see Karl in THAT suit before it is auctioned off on eBay with the proceeds going to the White Ribbon Foundation.

And with budgets about to be stretched for Christmas, we are offering 10 lucky viewers the chance to take part in the Today Treasure Hunt on Monday.

Bring along your most creative (and fabulous) Today-themed sign for your chance to dig for $20,000 in cash prizes.

The 10 best signs will be selected from the crowd and those lucky people will be allocated a plot of sand to dig up a treasure chest. Each chest contains a cash prize, from $1000 to $4000, with $20,000 in total up for grabs thanks to Michael Hill Jeweller … just in time for Christmas.

On Monday, the Today Show will launch the Nine Cares #Makesomeonehappy campaign, encouraging viewers to perform acts of kindness to brighten people’s days and foster a sense of community.

Karl and Lisa will kick off proceedings on Monday and Sylvia Jeffreys, Stevie Jacobs, Tim Gilbert and Richard Wilkins will pop up around the country with gestures to #makesomeonehappy

5.30am Monday on Nine.

  1. Just reeks of desperation to lift those ratings. When I used to watch the today show many thigns began to irk me about it, most of all that irritating high pitched gossip reporter, every times they crossed to him and I heard his annoying voice Id switch over, is he still on?

  2. Considering how Today stole Sunrise’s idea of presenting a week of shows from the US, I don’t think Sunrise will be in any hurry to rush to Frankston to present their show. Fremantle maybe but definitely not Frankston.
