SKY News' coverage of Saturday’s Victorian state election gets underway as early as 5:30am.

2014-11-27_0057SKY News’ coverage of Saturday’s Victorian state election will feature David Speers, Jim Middleton, Graham Richardson, Michael Kroger and gets underway as early as 5:30am.

From 5:30am on SKY News National (channel 601), SKY News Melbourne Bureau Chief Ahron Young and Political Reporter Tom Connell will set the scene as Victoria prepares to vote.

Then from 8:30am join SKY News Political Reporter David Lipson for a special state election edition of Saturday Agenda.

During the day join SKY News correspondent Jim Middleton and SKY News reporters with the party leaders for the latest as Victorians vote.

SKY News’ non-stop coverage of Victoria 2014: Election Night begins at 5:30pm from the SKY News Election Centre, anchored by Political Editor David Speers. David will be joined by The Australian’s Victorian Editor Patricia Karvelas, SKY News contributors Graham Richardson, Michael Kroger and Bruce Hawker and federal Victorian MPs Scott Ryan and Richard Marles.

As the polls close at 6pm there will be instant analysis with the release of the exclusive SKY news Exit Poll conducted by Newspoll.

SKY News will bring you all the key moments of election night – including speeches from Liberal leader Denis Napthine and Labor leader Daniel Andrews.

On SKY News Business (channel 602) you can watch the main election broadcast plus the latest reaction on social media.

  1. Sky news yes right wing but election nights they have contributor’s from both sided, but C9 with Tony Jones hosting???, won’t be watching that coverage, might bring out sports stats

  2. The most biased right wing propoganda news channel in the country think I will give it a miss . A test pattern would be more riveting viewing than the predictable right wing drivel that eminates from that news channel.

  3. Sky news is what I will be watching for the election updates. More professional than FTA channels. Imagine all The Block in 2015 advertising channel 9 can do on Saturday night! Maybe Laurie Oaks can pick up a nail gun and do a dance while reading out the count for ringwood.
