ABC getting a Divorce

New TV projects have received funding from Film Victoria.

2014-12-17_1509ABC is getting a Divorce.

The Divorce will be a 4 episode television series and feature length fiction project produced by Princess Pictures. The project, understood to be commissioned by the Arts and Entertainment department has received funding through Film Victoria. No further details are available at this time.

Also funded are a second season of animated series, KooKoo Harajuku, the series inspired by Gwen Stefani and produced by Moody Street Kids.

Four-part factual series The Great Australian Education Experiment takes the class to task, examining the status quo of the Australian education system.

Cordell Jigsaw Productions is producing this for ABC.

Jenni Tosi, Film Victoria CEO, said, “This funding reinforces our continued commitment to the generation of new ideas allowing Victorian talent to continue to produce high quality, dynamic and engaging content.”

“It’s a great finish to what has been a great year for the Victorian film Industry.”

  1. When I read that Princess Pictures was backing the project, I immediately assumed that it was going to be a Chris Lilley project.

    Husband Marshall (Lilley) and wife Marcia (Lilley) are on the verge of divorce, but they attempt to patch things up with the help of their marriage counsellor (also played by Lilley), who happens to have issues of his own. Unnecessary profanity ensues.
