Foxtel / Seven announce streaming TV titles for Presto

Wentworth, Love My Way, Packed to the Rafters, Home & Away -but where is A Place to Call Home?

2014-07-14_2223Presto has confirmed TV titles that will be available on Presto Entertainment, a joint venture between Foxtel and Seven West Media.

On offer will be local dramas including Wentworth, Satisfaction, Love My Way, Spirited, Tangle, Packed to the Rafters, All Saints, City Homicide, Home & Away, Winners & Losers and Always Greener.

But noticeably absent is A Place to Call Home, the very show that both networks have joined forces on. Foxtel is set to screen the first two seasons on air ahead of the third and fourth seasons, exclusively.

Seven will also supply British titles Mr Selfridge, Lewis, A Touch of Frost plus Rosemary and Thyme.

Upcoming US crime drama, Aquarius, staring David Duchovny, will join “soon after launch.”

Shaun James, Director of Presto and On Demand said, “These titles are just a small taste of what both Foxtel and Seven bring to the table for Presto Entertainment. The addition of hit TV shows from our combined libraries of landmark entertainment will add dozens of brilliant programs to Presto Entertainment in the lead up to launch.”

Presto Entertainment, consisting of TV titles, is offered as either a stand-alone service or can be bundled together with Presto Movies via Chromecast, selected Android tablets, iPads, and PC & Mac computers.

A date and pricing have not yet been announced.

  1. Wonder how many years of Home & Away will be available. Would also love it if they could bring us Blue Healers as well.

APTCH will probably emerge later on. Foxtel will want to get people subscribed before offering them other ways to access that content.

  2. Happy with All Saints, as they stopped showing it a few months ago on 7two. But not sure about paying for more tv. I already have Google play and while its not quite the same. I only can afford to spend so much.

  3. I think Netflix are beginning to realise people from Australia might still want to use the US Netflix accounts because they’ve just added Wentworth S1 and 2 to US Netflix
