Natarsha Belling will resume her role as a regular TEN News presenter in February, replacing Mike Munro on the national weekend bulletin.
She will also continue appearances with The Project and Studio 10.
“I’m a passionate journalist and I’m thrilled to be back with the hardworking and dedicated TEN Eyewitness News team. I’m incredibly excited about the new national role where I get to present the 5pm weekend bulletin but also have the unique opportunity to deliver the news differently with Studio 10 and The Project. Bring on 2015,” she said.
Belling originally gave up the weekend bulletins for duties with Wake Up, telling TV Tonight it was a big risk.
“For my professional career this is a big risk. I’m under no illusion that we have an extraordinarily hard job ahead of us,” she said at the time.
Mike Munro’s 12-month contract with Ten expires on February 8th with Belling to begin on February 14th.

She is such a babe and is so good at what she does, loved having her on Studio 10 the past few weeks! but will be great to have Sarah back on Mon 🙂
Natarsha is fantastic! I love the great vibe and warmth she brings, her personality and energy is so great to watch. I enjoy watching her appearances on studio 10 also she is a great asset to TEN.
Love Natarsha! Great gal, great personality, great journo!
She seems to be the go-to fill in for just about everything. Maybe 10 could actually hire some new people.
Much prefer her to Mike Munro, he is just a bit too dull and wooden for my liking.
Great news big fan of Natarsha. Ten’s week day news I find do the hour news well and I am always informed on what is happening in Australia and around the world
I was one of the few who liked Wake Up as it was a bit different to the other 2 breakfast shows, but I think one of the main reasons was Natarsha and her likeablity.
A Christmas miracle and a victory for common sense! Thank the little baby Jesus Mike Munro is off that desk. He always looked like he smelled something particularly offensive, even when reading the light, cutesy stories!
Welcome Natarsha – I remain (perplexed by the spelling of your name and) a big fan.
Much prefer the news credibility of a proper news journo instead of trumped up ‘Project presenters’. Ive got nothing against Natasha but the reason nobody watches Ten is because it lacks credibility in news. All of the older, real breaking news kind of reporters have been let go. Ten’s other programming is just awful and the only good show it has – Homeland – is buried at 1030 or 1045 or moved and not shown. I hope ten gets axed and is replaced by Foxtel.
A harsh assessment of a dedicated storyteller. Natarsha, not Natasha, has been an on-the-ground journo for more years than any recent roles in light entertainment. Think you will find she was added to these to give them some kudos. Some TEN News presenters such as Belling, Sandra Sully and recently Mal Walden attract audience respect above and beyond the ratings performance of their bulletins. While we’re on that note, TEN also wins the 5pm battle. Agree Homeland is terrific, but at some point when the audience abandons it, Programmers have to react.
Good news! She has been committed to TEN News over the past decade.
As it should be.
Congratulations Natarsha! Also liking your time on Studio 10.
What now for Mike? Will he appear on Sky News with other ex TEN newsreaders like Tim Webster and Tracey Spicer?
Perfect choice
Great news!!
