Airdate: I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

A week ahead of the ratings season but up against the Australian Open Men's Final.

kaakTEN will launch I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here live on Sunday February 1st, a week ahead of the ratings season.

Julia Morris and Chris Brown are set to head to Africa tomorrow.

But while the ambitious show avoids going head to head with Seven’s My Kitchen Rules launch, it will be up against the Australian Open Men’s Final. TEN had better be hoping there are no Aussies in the final -that would be a disaster.

It is also likely to compete with The Block on its first night, which has a six day jump on the show. But TEN will be hoping the celebrity reveals will give them the upper hand.

Updated: Showbiz commentator Peter Ford has leaked Kerri-Anne Kennerley as one of the guests who will join the celebs.

Hosts Julia Morris and Chris Brown will be joined in the jungle by 10 celebrities, who will meet for the first time as they travel from their luxury South African accommodation into the basic outdoor camp which will become their new home.

Clues to each of the celebrities going into the jungle have already been revealed but from tonight, more clues will be released each day.

The eclectic group of celebrities are from all walks of life and includes a world famous television actress, an AFL superstar, a four-time Olympian, a legendary Test cricketer, an international model, a fashion icon, a hot young comedian, a television star, a Gold Logie nominee and a member of television royalty.

Taken out of their comfort zone, the celebrities will reveal themselves to the public as never before and are set to test their survival skills through daily tests and challenges.

A nightly, live soap opera where the viewers decide who eats, who plays and who stays, the 10 celebrities going into the jungle will be revealed live and exclusively in the first episode.

6:30pm Sunday February 1st and continues 7:30pm Monday-Thurs.

  1. Unlike the Bachelor this will likely tank big time. It depends heavily on the Celebs. THe Bachelor had “real” people in it this will not. Big Fail for TEN.

  2. I understand this is being shot near Kruger National Park. When I was in Kruger we almost got run over by an elephant, I hope that doesn’t happen to any of the celebrities.
