TEN has amended two broadcasts of Big Bash League in Adelaide next week, ensuring that games with Adelaide Strikers screen Live in that city.
Instead of airing delayed at 7:30pm on Monday and Wednesday, games will now air at 7pm.
It’s not the first time TEN has made an adjustment for Adelaide viewers, as it continues to come under pressure from social media about delayed broadcasts.

If a game starts at 7 in Sydney, and Brisbane doesn’t have day light saving what time is it in Brisbane?
Would the working folk of Brisbane be home from work? finished cooking/ eating dinner? Bathed kids and ready to watch Cricket by 6pm? does the delay allow the working folk of Brisbane/QLD time to get home from work, cook and eat a meal bath kids who need bathing?
The delay would suck but if they had daylight saving…………
Congrats on TEN showing the games Live and free !!!
Maybe QLD should have Daylight Savings and crisis averted. Blame the state Govt and not 10…
No. Networks know the environment into which they are broadcasting, and they have served viewers in Perth via ONE. It’s TEN’s choice and they will have to wear it.
Play it live into QLD and show Project after, I’m sure it’s a good lead in…
@killy06 – because where is Queensland on the ladder? It would be mad of Ten not to show Adelaide’s games live because they are 1st on the ladder.
@Bogues – Ten can’t show it on tenplay because they don’t have the rights
Bouges – TEN don’t have the rights to stream it live through tenplay so that isn’t an option. They should just screen the first hour on ONE in Qld and then put it on TEN after that and get over the fact of putting it head to head with the Fued/Project. People will watch what they want to watch, not what they’re forced to watch. It’s pretty simple.
Leigh H – The Project was only 30 mins in all states last week. Hour episodes resume in all states from this week.
Maybe Monday too, not sure as I wasn’t home.
Ten have actually screened Big Bash from 7pm since Tuesday in Adelaide. We have only had 30 min eps of The Project.
Adelaide you was finally get to see the matches live which would be good news.
They didn’t afford Brisbane Heat the same rights when they played last week. If Ten don’t want to put the game live on ONE, then they should put it live on tenplay.com.au so people that do want to watch it live, can.
Interesting thing about last nights coverage, apparently at approximately 7:50pm an expletive was heard on the players mic. In Brisbane, the audio was blanked out. Not sure if it was in Syd/Mel.
Why all these amendments for Adelaide? What about Qld, why are we still in the dark ages with delayed telecasts? I’ve seen more comments online from Queenslanders regarding the games not being shown live than from Adelaide, especially when The Heat are playing.
