Actress Sarah Kemp, best known for Sons And Daughters, has died.

2015-01-12_1551Actress Sarah Kemp, best known for Sons And Daughters, has died.

She died peacfully at Bellingen Hospital in NSW died January 9th following a long battle with lung cancer.

She played dizzy socialite Charlie Bartlett on the Seven soap from 1982 to 1987.

Born Gypsy Kemp, her first role was on UK series Doctor Who in 1969, and was followed with appearances in Doctor Who in 1972, A Touch of the Other, The Benny Hill Show, Happily Ever After, Shoestring and Aussie shows Sporting Chance, GP and Australian-filmed Mercy Mission: The Rescue of Flight 771.

She also ran for the New South Wales Legislative Council in 1999 on the Unity Party ticket.

  1. I remember her fondly as Pat ‘The Rat”s sidekick on Sons and Daughters; but it was that elegant speaking voice that was most memorable. Just beautiful.
