7:30 executive producer Sally Neighbour has been appointed as exec producer of Four Corners, succeeding Sue Spencer who announced her departure in November.
The three-time Walkley-winning journalist has been producing 7.30 for three years and has previously worked for The 7.30 Report, Lateline, Foreign Correspondent, ABC News and Four Corners itself.
ABC Head of Current Affairs Bruce Belsham said: “Sally has reinvigorated 7:30 into an agenda-setting must-watch and she has great experience in investigative television journalism.
“She will be a worthy inheritor of Sue’s outstanding tenure at Four Corners.”
“I am thrilled and honoured to be taking over the reins at Four Corners. It is an enormous privilege and challenge to become EP of Australia’s finest and longest standing public affairs program,” Neighbour added.
Her replacement on 7:30 will be announced in coming weeks.

Sally is a graduate from regional television I believe. She came from GLV8 in Gippsland. These days there aren’t much of those opportunities for journos, which is what happens when so much of it is centralised.
