A Current Affair last night claimed My Kitchen Rules contestant Adam Andersen owes $36,000 in child support payments to his ex-wife and has a friendship with judge Pete Evans.

Andersen’s former wife Cindy claimed the monies in support of 5 children had accrued over the past 12-13 months, but she had no luck in trying to secure the money.

Family contact had dried up she suggested, in stark contrast to the MKR website claiming Andersen’s children visited him “as often as they can.”

She claimed to have written to Seven regarding the support payments but had not heard back.

Another claim suggested personal ties between judge and contestant with suggestions Andersen had coached Pete Evans in tennis. Reporter Brady Halls also said, he had worked on the door at Evans’ Sydney restaurant.

Seven did not respond to TV Tonight by deadline, but News Corp notes Pete Evans has refuted claims he’s ever been coached by Andersen, while a source pointed out Hugo’s is now owned by Evan’s brother, Dave.
