Apparently Russell Crowe was meant to be presenting but he decided to go to the South Sydney Rabbitohs ‘World Club Challenge’ game instead of attending.
Perhaps he’ll phone it in?
I watched Studio 10 promo of the Oscars and realised that Emma Freedman will be doing the presenting alongside with Angela Bishop.
I am never sure when ‘live’ really means ‘Live’ up here in Queensland?
This year is an all-round sad year for the Oscars. No really memorable movies. Finding an actor or actress that was really ‘outstanding’ this year was a struggle, apart from Eddie Redmayne portraying a brilliant Steven Hawking. So this year, I think no African-American should feel left out. ‘Selma’ was a good movie, but not really a movie I’d see twice.
