Foxtel has sent emails to subscribers interested in the IQ3 which hint at a launch in March.
“We know that you’re as excited as we are for the launch of iQ3 so we wanted to update you on where it’s at,” the email reads.
“There’s been a slight delay as we want to make sure that the iQ3 delivers the best experience possible, so we need a bit more time to make a few more tweaks before we open up for orders.
“We apologise for this and are working to a new launch date in March. We’ll let you know just as soon as it’s ready.”
Foxtel had initially flagged a February launch but has held off official dates and pricing.

I read somewhere you will be able to access recordings from another IQ box as well as Foxtel go.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a play around with the new iQ3 and it’s pretty damn good. Think iTunes interface on steroids.
They need this out before Game of Thrones
March 2016, I assume?
At this rate they will be asking us to register interest in the IQ4.
Wondering if we’ll get another email at the end of March saying we can pre order on 30th March and then have another 4 weeks of waiting
Given this is over a year late, I will believe it when I see it. Reports from various people testing it are it is really bad. Interface is terrible, can’t record shows properly and continually shuts They really shouldn’t have these issues after such a long development time, but hey this is Foxtel and their current boxes don’t work properly so why should the IQ3?
It had want to be technically perfect without a single glitch after all this delay!
