MKR dips but still has plenty of ratings sweetener

Ratings: Aside from a weekly drop by MKR, last night's ratings were not much different to those from a week ago.

2015-02-26_1019There wasn’t very much shift in viewing last night from the previous Wednesday.

While a few shows saw modest lifts in audiences (Forever, The Project, Wonderland, The Block) others took a minor dip (Winter, Mad as Hell, Judith Lucy is all Woman, Home and Away, 7:30).

The biggest shift was MKR down by some 200,000 on last Wednesday, but still well ahead of the rest.

Seven network won the night with 34.8% then Nine 25.5%, TEN 17.3%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 5.9%.

My Kitchen Rules topped the night with 1.5m viewers for Seven then Seven News (932,000 / 929,000), Home and Away (872,000), Winter (731,000), Million Dollar Minute (399,000) and Criminal Minds (368,000).

Nine News was 1.06m / 1.00m for Nine followed by A Current Affair (769,000), The Block (753,000), Hot Seat (633,000) and Forever (613,000).

The Project was 593,000 / 483,000 on TEN then TEN Eyewitness News (553,000), Wonderland (429,000). A Movie: This Means War was 129,000 as filler after TEN had caught up with US episodes of The Good Wife.

ABC News (748,000) was best on ABC then Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell (643,000), 7:30 (609,000), QI (524,000), Judith Lucy is All Woman (519,000) and Adam Hills: The Last Leg (458,000).

Walking Through History (317,000 / 311,000) topped SBS ONE followed by SBS World News (141,000). Rectify was 47,000.

7TWO’s Inspector Morse (274,000) was best on multichannels.

Sunrise: 362,000

    1. Thanks Sammo, I was of the belief that the top 20 shows FTA all channels list were the numbers for the the show on 1 platform only, not a compilation of multiple platforms.

  1. Hi David, As both IAC and FF have Channel 10 (not all multi chanel) figures available in the OZTAM sheet attached, are you able to mention these in your daily wrap above. Both of these shows were #1 and 2 for 10 overnight, but the wrap above may suggest otherwise.

  2. What has happened to MDM? It was close to Hot Seat at the end of last year but now it is being smashed by it. I think the repeats over summer killed any traction it was gaining on Hot Seat. It’s going to be a long road back now.
