  1. MKR is ruling the roost and it’s worth pondering why. This is a show that’s as much about eating and opinionising which anyone can do as it is about coking. But most in its favour is that it’s a show that can be watched with one eye. I’m usually cooking(in the plainest possible way) for the first half; eating and web surfing during the second, confident in the knowledge that if anything significant happens in the show it will be recapped numerous times. It’s second screener’s heaven. Dramas and documentaries that demand any serious level of concentration therefore struggle to find big audiences. The contestants are interesting enough and we know the villains will slowly transform into good guys. Colin, the new judge, is much more of a softie than the publicity led us to believe. And I find it irresistible to watch someone with worse hair than my own.

    • Hmmmm….never thought of it like that…but I think you are right…I watch most of my drama the next day or so….don’t want to have to think that hard in the evenings/nights.

  2. IAC is getting a bit boring. There’s been no big arguments or controversy. Everyone is getting in too well. The fact that Merv called someone a woman was made into a huge event and admitting that it was taken off the cutting room floor shows how they are running out of ideas. The producers need to stop feeding them.

  3. Mondays are the worst for Ten.

They should just stick a few repeats of The Simpsons on all their channels and they’ll still come in fourth.

But I do congratulate them for tightening IACGMOOH. It is running over time by a few minutes lately – compared to the 15 – 30 minutes that MKR and The Block regularly do.

    Well done.
