14 Comments:

  1. What were the ratings for the new episode for SVU? I. Didn’t even realise it was a new one until now (and only after reading an old article on this site)

  2. Anyone else see Alan Jones on Q&A? One of the best panellists they have ever had. Even the lefties were loving the points he was making. On fire!

    • Sure did…..he was fantastic….had all the figures at his fingertips.
      Didn’t Bowen feel uncomfortable.
Not sure having a token comedian does the program any favours….Corrine Grant was pretty ordinary.

  3. Watched MKR. Recorded I’m a Celeb and then watched it later.
Adelaide couple are nice people but bumbled their way to the bottom of the table – sad as the young woman is so friendly and nice.
    🙁

    • Careful Wolfie. It has come out in recent days that despite the 3 or 4 villains that MKR’s editing team has portrayed (the Vic duo, the NSW daughter & the WA lady), the rudest of them all just happened to be… (insert drum roll here)… the “so friendly and nice” Adelaide lady. Obviously, I can’t confirm it, but that’s what has come out from the other contestants. Apparently, she was the one that started the argument the other night and the editing simply made it look like the WA lady!

  4. Agree that Gallipoli has nothing new to offer so don’t think the ratings will improve with the viewers over time, I think channel 7 have something different if I am not mistaken, whereby they have stories of individual people which might be of more interest, and although the Block is creeping up in numbers not sure how long it will stay that way, if they have another 2 series to get through this year think people will just give them away, I know I am completely over it.

  5. Agreed. Channel 9 start drama far too late. Especially when there other shows run over. House Husbands wouldn’t start until 9.15 last year. It’s a family drama. Enjoyed Gallipoli though and will continue with it. The Block has lost me. Nothing we haven’t seen before

  6. barrington bumbaclaart

Channel 9 will be disappointed that their “television event of the year” delivered such low numbers, but not sure what they expected with a 9pm start.

Personally I have no interest in Gallipoli, heard it all before and there was nothing new presented, so doubt I’ll tune in for more. Was well made though.

  7. MKR continues to be a beast. Gallipoli has a decent start too although i thought it would get higher than that. TEN continues to be on struggle street. The Block is on the rise and Pitch Perfect did great for a movie which ended at 11:20pm. Still would have preferred Revenge or Downton Abbey though. What’s going on Channel Seven?
