Presto joins iPhone, Android phones.

Presto is now available on select iPhones and handsets from Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony and ZTE.

The initial roll out includes iPhone 5C, 5S, 6 and 6 Plus as well select Android devices from Samsung, HTC, LG, Sony and ZTE.

From today, iPhone users can download the Presto app for free from Apple’s App Store and Android users from the Google Play Store or Samsung App Store.

Shaun James, Director of Presto and On Demand, said, “It’s been just over a month since Presto TV landed on Android tablets and with today’s announcement, we’ve massively increased the number of devices you can use to enjoy Presto.

“Presto subscribers can now enjoy our unbelievable movie and TV offering on their smartphones, allowing them to watch content when and where they want. Presto remains committed to ensuring users can access its online streaming service on as many devices as possible and we expect to make further announcements on even more devices soon.”

Presto TV or Presto Movies are available for $9.99 a month each or bundled for $14.99 a month.

  1. Why no Walking Dead, Game of Thrones on this service? Or even Last Week Tonight, Broad City and Silicon Valley. Ok have it be ‘Foxtel Play Lite’ and only offer the last few eps. But no fast track or exclusive first streaming service plays smacks of lazyness. Presto is also still not Airplay compatible (or Chromecast or TV app) when all their major competitors are.
