2015-02-12_1157Quiet achiever Kids’ WB returns for its 10th season this Saturday, February 14, at 7.00am on GO!, with hosts Lauren Phillips and Shane Crawford.

The 10th season will also feature classic Looney Tunes episodes that haven’t been seen on the Nine Network since The Bugs Bunny Show with host Sophie Lee in 1992.

The 10th season will be giving away more prizes and showcasing bigger guests than ever before, including international football star Harry Kewell who will put hosts Lauren Phillips and Shane Crawford – the biggest kid in town – to the test at his recently opened Harry Kewell Academy.

The upcoming season will also include adventures with Cirque du Soleil acrobats, picking up a few tricks with the grand illusionist Cosentino, and rocking out to English super group McBusted.

McBusted – composed of bands McFly and Busted – who are currently supporting One Direction on the Australian leg of their On The Road Again Tour, will perform a special acoustic version of their new single Get Over It in-studio for Kids’ WB on Saturday, February 21.

Returning friends of Kids’ WB include resident zoologist Chris Humfrey, magician Magic Tony, The Voice 2013 winner Harrison Craig and science guru Nicholas J. Johnson.

Kids’ WB will also continue to bring Australian kids new episodes of The Batman for the first time on GO! as well as Adventure Time, Wabbit – A Looney Tunes Production and Be Cool Scooby Doo!

The first three eps of the Looney Tunes classic will air at 7.00am this Saturday, February 14

Muzzle Tough – starring Tweety and Sylvester
It’s moving day for Granny and Tweety, and Sylvester is keen to get into the house. A number of different disguises help him gain entry, but getting back out in one piece proves difficult.

Duck Amuck – starring Daffy Duck
Daffy and the animators do not see eye to eye. Changing backgrounds are not the only problem Daffy has to contend with.

Bewitched Bunny – starring Bugs Bunny
Can Bugs get the better of the Witch and help save Hansel and Gretel from becoming her lunch?

  1. This is good news but I was kind of hoping 9 would go back to the days They going back to the Sophie Lee era would show it as a news lead in.Pretty Sick of Eddie Everywhere Mc Guire’s ugly Mug and Hot Seat.

  2. I’m sure i have seen Daffy Ducks, duck amuck, in the recent past. The unfortunate thing that Go! are doing is putting a commercial break smack dab in the middle of one of the cartoons. Why they don’t leave it as a commercial break b/w the cartoons is beyond me. At least it’s one classic cartoon they are showing, would love to see more.

  3. Thanks David, I’ve been compiling the classic looney tunes for a while now but GO seem to show the same ones over and over. Love the Hansel and Gretal one, haven’t seen it for years.

  4. Looney Tunes shorts have been constantly shown on Go! (and previously Nine) for years now, frequently between the other cartoon been shown.
The complete series of The Batman has already been shown on Nine, with season 3 onwards previously shown on Go!
Be Cool Scooby Doo! and Wabbit won’t be shown anytime soon, since they have not even started overseas yet.
Kids WB currently offers no new cartoon seasons/series at all.
