SKY News Weather has turned its attention to tropical cyclones Lam and Marcia.
“While wind gusts over 200 km/h are possible, along with hundreds of millimetres of rain and widespread flooding, the most dangerous feature of Lam will be the significant storm tide and damaging waves,” says Tom Saunders, Chief Meteorologist at SKY News.
Tropical Cyclone Marcia is not as intense as Lam, but the system will spread severe weather and flooding from central Queensland to northeast New South Wales.
“Marcia will hit the central Queensland coast but spread her influence down as far as northeast New South Wales. Millions will be affected with flooding expected from the Nambucca River to central Queensland,” he continues.
“Friday is definitely when the weather will be at its most severe, before conditions ease through the weekend, “he concludes.

I heard some reports that TC Lam was crossed into the inland of NT.
Marcia is more intense than Lam. Marcia is a category 5 storm. Lam was a Cat 4
