Watched My France with Manu on 7 and the Australia on 7, which is also very good.
Recorded I’m a Celeb. and Shark Tank on 10. Both are good programmes and Shark Tank appeals to the 2 younger demographics and so it should. It is very good. Watched them after Australia 🙂
Yes it was strange decision that 7 replaced MKR with the Manu special which didn’t make it to any of the demo lists last night. Also appears that Family Freud is losing its appeal screening six days a week and over three channels too – noticed some of the other game shows screening at 5.30 out rates FF last week – not a good sign for Ten
Shark Tank on one channel was 739,000 while I’m a Celeb… was 666,000 across three. If that doesn’t underscore that it is content which mostly determines ratings, not cynical tricks designed to manipulate the data, then I don’t know what will.
And Ten continue to shoot themselves in the foot with such low multi channel ratings as a result. These simulcasts happen during times when most people are watching TV and are also looking for alternatives. Does anyone at Ten seriously think that someone who was going to watch the Simpsons on ELEVEN or a show on ONE who has never watched I’m a Celeb suddenly decide to watch it just because it is on the channel they were going to watch? Whether a show airs on 1,2 or 3 channels makes no difference to its ratings overall. Completely agree it is content that generates ratings not how many channels the same show is on.
That’s right,I religiously watch Simpsons on sunday nights, but with the Celeb simulcast on 11 again I ended up flicking to 72 & watched their shows before flicking back to watch the only episode of Simpsons that was on,after that watched another network.
Is it non-ratings season all ready? Why did Seven decide to stop the 1.6m rating MKR and put a Manu special on instead? And apparently all this week they are going to show the 3rd group hosted by Colin.
Oh well at least we now know who the MKR viewers turn to when their rotten show isn’t on.
I watched RHOMelbourne last night – I just have to wonder how much money those women between them have spent on botox… there wasn’t a facial movement among them!!
Without MKR, Nine managed to top the night with The Block. It was the 2nd time that The Block has scraped into the million mark. Really strange why not every city has topped The Block during the night.
120,000 for The Real Housewives Of Melbourne is really impressive – it was all over my social media last night. Fantastic first episode!
Shark Tank doing good numbers and in the demos too.
Yes I’m happy to see these decent results for Shark Tank too. In a sea of mediocre reality shows with excruciatingly long episodes, this one stands out for being interesting, tightly edited and genuinely entertaining. I hope its ratings continue to rise.
Yes it’s a great show. It’s intelligent, interesting and potentially (genuinely) life changing
Agree totally with above comments – good show 🙂
With mkr missing everything seems to have gone up , I can’t help but chuckle at the numbers the block pulled. that’s nearly double they’ve been doing all season
The Block was up by 132,000.
