    @matthewh87 Look at it for what it’s worth?? A pile of nonsense that appeals to the lowest common denominator presented in a fashion so dumbed down you can literally feel your IQ dropping with every passing minute. Personally I don’t call watching people making dinner entertainment. Sorry, but it’s sh*t lazy television that is purely and blatantly designed to carry viewers to and across the next ad break.

    …and think about that number 1.4 million. Out of a potential 23.13 million. Hmmm. All it says to me is there are 1.4 million suckers out there with nothing better to do than become advertising fodder.

  2. Barringtonbum maybe you would enjoy it more if you sat back and watched it for what it’s worth rather than analyse it for all it’s flaws . I never said it was perfect , but it’s entertaining , to me atleast …

  3. MKR is so dull and repetitive, it’s same thing every year, just different faces. Ok, there’s money spent on to make it look slick but really at the end of each episode I feel like I’ve been at a bad dinner party, with a bunch of bogans and bad food. Yuk!

  4. Seven have done it again with their casting for MKR, they nail it every season. Have enjoyed the two episodes so far, particularly last night’s train wreck. The Block appears to be bombing big time. MKR is getting almost double its ratings.

  5. Mkr holding very very strong! That is awesome , clearly people like it! celebrity and block keep dropping.. that is quite sad, I still feel though that celeb is better put at 7pm for half an hour , far much better! You can’t expect to win against mkr

  6. So the new Big Bang ended up on Tuesday night? I’m sure they were advertising that as Monday week after The Block back in Jan?

    Thank goodness I am not reliant on Nine’s broadcast times for new eps anymore.

    The new ep of BBT would so significantly better at 7.30 than being 9.12 or-something after the block…

    Sure Celeb would have done much better with a 7pm start avoiding the same 7.30 start as Seven and Nine.

  7. MKR dropped from Monday but its still way out in front of the rest of them. Seven have really casted well this season and we’ve only seen group 1 so far and the majority of my favourites are actually in group 2.

    I’m a Celebrity and The Block do have their own viewers but its reality overload and some people can’t watch all at once. I can’t wait for Winter tonight. I hope it does well and MKR finishes on time so it can start at 9pm not like 9:15ish

    @matthewh87 my kitchen rubbish is far from quality, it’s just the best of the tripe commercial networks serve up. call it the “king of the sh*t-heap” if you will.

    What should restore your faith is the fact more people watched 7.30 than the block and i’m a celeb.

  9. Dansdans – I completely agree with you – shows like breaking bad and game of thrones are on another level ! I was more speaking in terms of Aussie reality shows . Mkr is at the top for me … But that’s just my opinion … Oh and 1.4 million others 😉

    No, quality shows are dramas like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy etc

    My Kitchen Rules is as far from quality as you can get

  11. I love MKR but I hope they don’t keep focusing on the lady with all the hair and the piercing eyes! I like her and don’t want them to make her out to be the villain and for it to become a ‘hate fest’ again as in previous series

  12. I’m really enjoying task out zone live stream after I’m a Celeb. I think 10 should put more of this content in the show and a bit less focus on the challenges.Maybe even telecast FOZ late at night or on 11.

  13. If Ten had strategically programmed IACGMOOH and aired it 9.30-10.30 each night I reckon ratings would be higher than putting it in direct competition with a proven ratings hit

  14. Agree Matthew87, My Kitchen Rules is a good show, The Block triple treat does not seem to be doing as well as previous years, reckon people are all renovated out with it.

  15. My kitchen rules holding strong ! Very entertaining show..
    It’s good to see people enjoy watching a quality show & not that mitre 10 commercial on 9 or that rubbish they are running on 10 … Faith is restored .
