38 Comments:

  1. Watched MKR, What a failure those 2 were last night but looking forward to the Texan on Wednesday 🙂
Recorded IACGMOOH and NCIS off 10. Celebrity show not for everyone but am enjoying the characters and challenges. No way would I stick my hands into those holes for instance, he was very brave.

  2. I love all the comments!
I had a great night watching a DVD and PVR!
Each to their own, but the strategy to over saturate the market is unappealing and the high frequency of episodes for over an hour for 3-5 nights is ridiculous!
I choose to watch what I like and we are all entitled with different views & likes!
I prefer some Aussie dramas and documentaries. Not many viewers seem to based on ratings!
I dislike many in the reality genre and berate the network for their offerings not the viewers!
I still love that this site allows for passionate expression of TV shows!

  3. Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are both niche shows that focus on the darkness of humanity. I watch Game of Thrones and agree its a good show but there’s no way you can compare it to Australia’s reality slate. Two different genres. MKR has been the top show for six years and rightfully so, Seven have done an incredible job bringing it to air – even their opposition says so. They’ll be laughing all the way to the bank while you two sit on your keyboards

  4. Ten will be happy with those I’m A Celebrity numbers. It’s more than double what Biggest Loser/Dance were rating last year. As for moving it to 7pm, last year MasterChef proved that Ten can compete at 7.30pm regardless of the timeslot.

Nine would be pretty concerned with ratings for The Block. It was only just ahead of I’m a Celebrity and was even beaten by a new Big Bang. Serves them right for milking it to death.

  5. I really don’t think starting 10 reality shows at 7 is a good suggestion. Project rates far better from 7- 730 than from 630 – 7. 10 just need to persist. Surely people will tired of MKR eventually. I think Celeb numbers will slowly creep up over the season after this initial drop off.

  6. I see the 7 (and to be fair 10/9 to a lesser extent) fan boys are still going strong. Seriously the block, mkr and im a celebrity are all rubbish. Mkr quality tv? Please…

  7. Tens Reality shows have never faired well once they started with the 7.30 start. Ten needs to start their shows at 7pm, when will they learn???
