Renewed: Unforgettable wins new lease of life

Twice axed, but US crime procedural is back for more.

UnforgettablecbsIt’s the show that just refuses to lay down and die.

US crime series Unforgettable has been picked up by A&E after twice being axed by CBS.

The series, starring Poppy Montgomery and Dylan Walsh, has been renewed for 13 more episodes.

The show was last cancelled in October, following an earlier cancellation in May 2012. NBC also briefly toyed with the idea of picking up the procedural.

A&E, which airs Bates Motel and has the US version of The Returned, recently cancelled Longmire before it was revived at Netflix.

It has aired in Australia on Nine.
