Leonie Lowe, Managing Director, Lune Media, said: “I’m delighted to be working with betty on a line-up of standout shows that have great potential for success in the Australian and New Zealand markets. This is an important new win for my business as I continue to expand operations and look forward to producing entertaining television that attracts strong audiences. The Lune Media team are some of Australia’s leading professionals that deliver quality, popular programming and are dedicated to achieving extraordinary results.”
Sophy Walker, head of operations, betty, said: “Australia is our most successful secondary sales market both in terms of revenue and the number of programmes sold. We’ve always found the Australian market to be lively and engaging with a genuine enthusiasm for our shows. This new partnership with Lune comes at a time of increased demand from broadcasters for local versions of international formats and we look forward to working with Leonie and her team.”
