A day after being the target of Charlie Sheen insults, the prolific Chuck Lorre is winning again, with renewals for his comedies Mike and Molly and Mom.
Mike and Molly is approved for a sixth season while Mom is renewed for a third season.
The renewals mean Lorre will continue to have at three series on CBS next season with both Mike & Molly and Mom joining the previously renewed The Big Bang Theory.
Mike & Molly and Mom are the network’s second and third comedies renewed for the 2015-16 season after The McCarthys was not renewed.
Meanwhile The Odd Couple has done well on Thursdays in the prime post-Big Bang Theory slot.
Both Lorre-penned comedies air in Australia on the Nine network.

Yes. Love mike and Molly and mom…. Now when are we getting new eps of both?
Oh, wow. I thought Mike and Molly already axed years ago.
I think both shows are great, I still remember the hurtful comments about M&M when it started. So glad the show is a hit and for all the awards Melissa McCarthy is getting after her time on Gilmore Girls.
As for those who hate the shows, you know there are other channels. I’m just grateful we’re getting something other than The Block on ch9.
the title of this topic should start with ‘Axed’
it’s amazing how terrible shows keep getting renewed!
I’m sure Chuck Lorre is crying into his 700-800 million dollar net worth over Charlie Sheen’s comments.
Ew. Horrible shows.
But why?
