Indigenous football series The Marngrook Footy Show is back next week on NITV.

Former Melbourne superstar Aaron Davey joins the panel as a semi-regular, alongside Grant Hansen, Gilbert McAdam and Chris Johnson, with Leila Gurruwiwi and Shelley Ware.

A lot has happened since the Swans had their worst game of the year last September and Hawthorn again demonstrated their strength, power and fighting spirit to take out the 2014 premiership.

Rodney Eade is now coach of the Suns, Kevin Sheedy returns to the Bombers, Buddy got engaged, James Hird is back, and injuries have rocked the NAB cup.

Footy is back in 17 days and on Thursday March 26, Australia’s most unique football program The Marngrook Footy Show, featuring Indigenous presenters and focusing on Indigenous AFL players, will return with an all-star lineup.

The Marngrook Footy Show celebrates and embraces the contribution made by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders to Australian Football. Each and every week, this is the heart and soul of the show.

In 2015, Grant Hansen, Gilbert McAdam, and Chris Johnson are back on the desk with Leila Gurruwiwi and Shelley Ware, combining their unique mix of footy news interviews and in depth analysis, with a few laughs along the way.

Hawthorn premiership hero Shaun Burgoyne will kick off the series in 2015 as episode one’s special guest. Burgoyne will share his thoughts on the season ahead and how he and the Hawks will continue their premiership winning form in to the new season. Also joining the Marngrook panel is legend of the game and current Essendon club director, Simon Madden, who will give insight into the club’s pre-season and how the current playing group is preparing for round one.

This season former Melbourne superstar Aaron Davey joins the panel as a semi-regular, as well as many other current day players and legends of the game including Robert Dipierdomenico, Mathew Stokes,Doug Hawkins, Russell Robertson, Daniel Wells, Phil Krakouer, Kevin Bartlett and Jake King.

Marngrook has a proud history of presenting great live music each week, showcasing some of the best emerging local talent, alongside music legends. The first show welcomes emerging hip-hop artist Philly to the Marngrook stage to perform ‘We On’, the sporting anthem that became Geelong’s finals song in 2014 and featured Cat’s star Steve Motlop.
