11 Comments:

  1. Watched MKR ON 7.
Recorded I’m a Celeb. Off 10 and watched after MKR, as well as NCIS.
Recorded Vera and Waking the Dead off 72 to watch at a later time.

  2. Although MKR has high numbers, when you compare the rest of the numbers between the networks they are all “generally” around the same level (i.e. all around the mid-high ‘000s). Overall it appears that Ten is the biggest winner with the biggest % audience share increase (in comparing to last year) and Nine the biggest looser of % audience share.

  3. bettestreep2008

I’m still surprised that IACGMOOH is hanging in, doing well in demos and sometimes beating The Block.

Trying to compete with MKR is a lost cause – so doing well against The Block is promising.

There might be a second series next year – but it all depends on the cost vs return. I am sure the cost of IACGMOOH is higher than The Block…and definitely more expensive than MKR.

As for HTGAWM – well the 1st season finale just screened in the US – so most Australians have probably downloaded the entire series by now and preparing to view it without ads and the ghastly overruns that all the free to air continue to persist with.

    • Yeah I reckon they will renew it. It’s the best start to the year they’ve had since I started following this site – right about the time things went south for TEN (2012).

      • If they do renew, they may battle to pull together another lot of so-called celebrities. If they do manage it, let’s not waste budget on a location that took ages to actually make sense within the series. The first part could have been done in any major parkland, anywhere.

  4. jezza the first original one

Ch9s line up felt a bit like Groundhog Day last night…The Block then endless BBT. Murder lost almost 1,000,000….yeah A Million of its lead in….so much for lead-ins
