I suspect quite a few got caught out with the 2nd ep. of Forever….I dont PVR and I only knew because I read it here….
On a really good night there might be a total of 4 1/2 million watching all shows at a given time. There are around 23 million of us so whats everyone else doing? The pubs and restaurants aren’t full around here.
I know quite a few who watch DVDs….others on things like Playstation…Xbox….and yet others….game players on computer with others all over the world…….
Everybody that I know has the TV on at 7 even if they aren’t paying attention. When something really huge is on “State of Origin” “MKR final” etc you cant find anybody that didn’t see it but still there are 18 million that don’t show up in the ratings. I wonder if they are all watching their dvds of TBBT and that’s why its rating are slipping?
I’d love to see 7’s “News Hour” in the eastern states split into two, loosely modeled on how the U.S. networks do. 7 could run state-based bulletin with current team from 6 – 6:30, then have a national bulletin which is slightly more comprehensive on National and International stories, Tim Lester would be a perfect host, and could be Canberra based, or OB’s if the PM is travelling or a major news event is breaking. With the numbers that Perth & Adelaide pull it would be foolish to tinker, but stories could be incorporated either in the main bulletin or TT.
Wonder why numbers for Nine News dropped so much last night? And what was on ACA that gave it much higher numbers in Syd and Bri? Something to do with the NRL?
7 primary channel beat 9 network, 9 primary channel beat 10 network.
Mad As Hell put out another great show. If it was on 7 on a Sunday night it would pull 1 million.
Watched MKR – some nice girls left last night. I could think of better candidates to be pointed to the exit 🙂
Recorded David Attenborough’s Great Natural Wonders and watched it after MKR.
Note to ch7 – we did not watch or record Taggart because only part 1 is shown and no part 2 – even next week. This happens all the time with episodes in two parts lately. What is the point of only showing part 1? ( Hostile Witness ) 🙁
They are doing that with a lot of the English shows…got caught with a few like Dalziel & Pascoe….just gave up….darn annoying….
Interesting to see why a top ABC show beats a top Show from 9.
