  1. I used to watch 9news but since they became an hour service i’ve switched to 7news,i prefer to see the weather forecast at 6.25pm & not 6.55pm.Ratings for 9news in Adelaide have been low for a while now compared to 7 & Abc news.

    • I Still watch Nine news hour.
We have Today Tonight in Perth. Not worth watching. Showing more sports stories.
Wait till the afl starts up again.

@cazz81 I agree. One hour is far too long. Viewers are sick of waiting another half hour for the sport and weather when they putting on puff pieces on celebrity fashion and other non-news stories to fill in the time. Teases of the weather report around 6.20pm don’t help things either. The nightly news should only cover news that really matters and that people are interested in and half an hour is more than enough time to do that.

  3. I’m sad IACGMOOH ratings dropped. I can’t stand the show but now they’ll probably use the falling ratings as an excuse to simulcast it on Eleven again.

  4. I watched the Cricket Match between Australia and Afghanistan on GEM. That is a huge share for GEM thanks to Australia’s enormous victory over Afghanistan at the WACA.

  5. Interesting to see even the nightly news ratings seem to be dropping. I wonder if it is to do with the expansion to 1 hour a night. I personally don’t think most nights there is enough actual news to fill the whole hour. I much preferred the tight 30 min news edition we used to receive. Good to see Winter holding steady in the ratings and even rising a bit I think from previous weeks.

    • I think it has more to do with the cricket which was on at the same time. Most other program on primary channels fell against the cricket but Winter was up.
