Poit indeed, buddy! Get your facts straight!
So this will finish on a Thursday here? Maybe Ten might consider bumping the finale to primetime to cash in any buzz from the a list guests. It looks like there is only SVU repeats then now Gogglebox is finishing.
Great idea…..are you listening Ten?
No, I thought not!
10 is only showing old repeats over and over? After midnight. Yes?
Can anyone suggest how to watch the current eps ?
I am in Melbourne
I gather Steve Vizard will not be invited …
I’m really going to miss The Late Show. Good luck to Letterman. It would ease the pain a little if The Late Late Show could be shown. I believe that’s in it’s third or fourth week in the US. There’s only Jimmy Fallon on at 10.30 and an alternative to his hyperactivity would be welcome. I’m talking about FTA. Don’t know what’s available on paytv.
Meanwhile Ten has pushed Letterman later and later into the nether regions of the night, so that it can encore its pathetic Project show around 11;30pm.
Letterman is 9, Project is 10.
Er, no. As Pete B says, Letterman is on 10 after a repeat of The Project.
When was the last time you watched Letterman?
I’d lay odds Leno could be a surprise guest.
So Letterman ends in May and Colbert doesn’t start until Sept, thats huge break for a talk show. Most usually continue with a mix of new and reruns over their summer months. The biggest exception I can think of it Ellen which does take those months off.
There might well be fill in guest hosts for that period-happened when Dave was hospitalised a way bavk and more recently after Craig H departed the Late Late Show, fill inhosts for that until Corden started.
Not the plan. The idea of the space was to avoid direct comparisons.
Hopefully Madonna makes an appearance, it wouldn’t be right without David’s most infamous interviewee saying farewell to him.
Letterman and Leno were getting along for a while. Leno appeared in a Superbowl commercial for CBS with Letterman and Oprah, which NBC and people on his staff didn’t know he was doing. He said on the short lived The Jay Leno Show that is was good to have his old friend back. But since then was the Tonight Show War #2 where Dave took Conan’s side and said that Leno was a brat and had always been one.
