First MKR semi-final tops Tuesday
Ratings: The year's first reality battles are coming to a close, with Seven still in pole position.

The first semi final for My Kitchen Rules was well ahead of the competition last night at 1.5m viewers for Seven, trumping the penultimate episode of The Block (1.14m).
Will and Steve defeated Ash and Camilla for a place in Monday’s grand final. While the numbers are still short of their best “instant restaurant” numbers, it was enough for Seven to win the night. Tonight the show rests while Nine holds its Block auction.
Seven network won with a 31.3% share then Nine 27.7%, TEN 17.7%, ABC 16.5% and SBS 6.8%.
Following MKR for Seven were Seven News (1.1m / 988,000), Home and Away (825,000), Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (incorrectly titled was 751,000) and Million Dollar Minute was 515,000. Greys Anatomy was 269,000 / 165,000.
Nine News (1.17m / 1.09m) was best for Nine then  The Block (1.14m), A Current Affair (964,000), Big Bang (679,000 / 588,000 / 495,000), Hot Seat (607,000) and 2 Broke Girls (307,000 / 247,000). Mike and Molly was 176,000.
NCIS (593,000) led TEN’s night. The Project was 586,000 / 406,000, TEN Eyewitness News was 582,000, NCIS: LA was 476,000, Gold Coast Cops was 425,000 and Bondi Rescue was 424,000.
ABC News (884,000) topped ABC followed by 7:30 (667,000), Foreign Correspondent (613,000), The Secret World of Lewis Carroll (477,000) and Antiques Roadshow (375,000).
On SBS ONE it was Russia’s Lost Princesses (306,000), Insight (274,000), Dateline (252,000) and SBS World News (174,000).
Leading multichannels was ABC2’s Peter Rabbit on 272,000.
The Morning Show: 139,000 / 80,000
Mornings: 126,000
Studio 10: 49,000 / 33,000
