Applications are open for the 2015 Jacoby-Walkley scholarship which offers paid internship with experienced news and current affairs teams.

Three previous winners are now working in the industry:

Will Mumford is a journalist at SBS News (winner 2013)
Kirrily Schwarz is working in the Nine newsroom as an associate producer (co-winner 2014)
Megan Stafford is working for the Walkley Foundation (co-winner 2014)

Anita Jacoby, managing director, ITV Studios Australia, said: “Now more than ever in this digital world, there’s a growing need to train the next generation of television journalists. Recipients will have a unique opportunity to develop their TV storytelling skills and be mentored by some of Australia’s leading journalists and producers.”

The scholarship is open to final year students and recent graduates aged 26 years and under.
