More revivals are in development in the US.
ABC is filming a potential revival of The Muppet Show, penned by The Big Bang Theory co-creator Bill Prady.
The Hollywood Reporter claims it is likely to be presented at the network Upfronts in May and could go straight to series.
The concept reportedly sees Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo and Animal, among others, gathering at ABC Studios for a meeting about the new Muppet Show. But Miss Piggy won’t sign on, and her relationship with Kermit is on the rocks, preventing the show from getting off the ground.
Meanwhile ABC sitcom, Full House is aid to be nearing a deal to return on Netflix.
Original exec producer Robert L. Boyett and series creator Jeff Franklin have been leading the charge to bring back the comedy’s former stars Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) on board to star. Lead trio Bob Saget (Danny), John Stamos (Jesse) and Dave Coulier (Joey) may appear in a guest capacity.
Last week NBC announced a straight-to-series order for a Coach revival starring Craig T. Nelson.
Recently confirmed for revivals are Twin Peaks and The X Files.

Hope this works out for the muppets. Really liked when they had their last tv series Muppets Tonight.
Don’t bring back The Muppets specially since it involves Bill Prady
Wouldn’t mind seeing the return of full house. Am wondering whether this means Netflix will make available the full series of full house? Wouldn’t mind Netflix having the rights to shows that aired the 80s and 90s and some current shows that simply don’t make it to Australia.
They should bring back V with Elizabeth Mitchell! I’d totally watch that.
Dont bring back Full House or Muppets. Didn’t Muppets already have a comeback a few years ago but didn’t take off?
They did 2 Muppet movies (2011 and 2014) and they really successful. I loved them, they were very sweet and funny!

Interesting. My prediction for the new Full House’ plot: DJ & Kimmy are now single mothers trying to juggle their careers/lives with a bunch of kids in tow, so agree to live together creating another ‘full house’. Hilarity ensues. The series will see cameo appearances from former cast members, culminating in the Season One finale involving a guest-star appearance from Mary-Kate/Ashley Olsen (Michelle).
I also wouldn’t be surprised to see Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) trying to get some sort of extended role in the show if it does get greenlit.
Hollywood has gone mad.
They should bring back shows that had season ending cliffhangers but didn’t get picked up for a next season. Northern Exposure, Two Guys and A Girl, Las Vegas, Life Support
Really that’s the shows u go with? 🙂
I mean there ok shows but there cliff hangers weren’t so bad, unlike firefly, sarah Connor chronicles, alphas, V, glades were much much worse, that’s just off the top of my head,
Yes V’s ending sucked, so did Heroes!
yeah but heroes is coming back
