It was originally announced as airing in 2014, but SBS is still yet to announce an airdate for its doco series Once Upon a Time in Carlton featuring Mick Gatto and the Italian community.
The third in the series, following earlier profiles of Cabramatta and Punchbowl histories, was announced at SBS Upfronts at the end of 2013:
The Once Upon a Time series will continue with the announcement of Once Upon a Time in Carlton (Northern Pictures), which will delve into the Italian community in Carlton, Melbourne with Mick Gatto a key character in the series.
SBS was forced to re-edit its Punchbowl series after one of the subjects filmed exaggerated his claims about incarceration. It aired later in mid 2014.
An SBS spokesperson tells TV Tonight filming has been completed on the Carlton series, but no premiere has been scheduled as yet.

So Mick’s still wearing Ed Hardy t-shirts. Get with the program Mick, that trend came and went seven years ago.
