Seven takes lazy Easter week
Ratings: Thank goodness non-ratings are over, with very little to get excited about last week.
The second week of Easter non-ratings has gone to Seven with My Kitchen Rules as the only entertainment show to clear the magic million. It was an uninspiring week of television, but the ratings race has now resumed.
MKR led the week (Wed: 1.47m). Other Seven brands were Seven News (1.04m), Criminal Minds (893,000) and Home and Away (816,000).
Nine News (Sun: 1.01m) topped Nine’s week. The Block (Mon: 998,000) and The Big Bang Theory (Mon: 841,000) also scored.
New Tricks (942,000), ABC News (Sat: 890,000) and Midsomer Murders (847,000) were best for ABC.
TEN only scraped into the #40 shows of the week with a repeat of Modern Family (635,000) on Thursday as its best performer. Next was TEN Eyewitness News (627,000) and Family Feud (simulcast 588,000).
