  1. Sad to see River Cottage Aust. have it’s lowest overnight ratings so far – but that was to be expected given it was moved to a channel which isn’t available in the basic package. I assume Foxtel moved it to LifeStyle Food – as well as picked up Great Aust. Back Off – to try and have more original content on its channels to compete with not only the IPTV services but also Food Network which launched on Fetch TV this year as Foxtel wouldn’t offer more of it’s channels (so far they only offer TVH!TS to Fetch TV). It’s great for the Aust. economy to have more Aust. produced shows, but I can’t help but think it would be better to have it as far reaching as possible by offering it on more than just Foxtel. Perhaps ACCC need to get involved.

  2. Love it how Masterchef is no 1 program and also no1 in demographics and that The Project – which so many predicted will not last is also showing up in the demographics quite often.

We watched Masterchef, a recording and from 10:30 Giro Italia cycling until the end.
Love how Reno Rumble is sinking because it is overkill, just having renovation shows and other repeats on 9. Punishment from even the loyal 9 viewers in my opinion. 7 is also playing with fire with their medium performing renovation show. 🙂

    • I hate old shows that may have been funny in their time but what younger person can associate with MASH now? That is why we do not pay for Foxtel. 80% old shows and repeats from FTA TV – why pay for it and make Murdoch even richer?

  3. I agree with Cazz81 and also David Knox.
I actually prefer watching Reno Rumble to HR
David when will the voice return to screens and have you heard anything about when Channel 9 will show CSI back on tv- they pulled it off halfway during the season.
Plus what will happen with Gorgi Coghlan when Carrie Bickmore returns.

  4. I think it’s fair to say now that both House Rules and Reno Rumble are expensive flops. Nine might be ok with that because whilst their show is tanking they’ve also managed to severely impact on House Rules which is really only getting a decent audience once a week for the reveals. Interested to see if Seven will proceed with a 2nd series of House Rules this year and will they hold off X Factor as long as they can in order for it not to clash with The Voice.
