More politics in SKY News revamp
Political commentator Peter van Onselen moves from evenings to daytime as part of a line-up revamp.

SKY News will launch a new daytime and evening line-up from 1 June, increasing its political news coverage.
Political commentator Peter van Onselen, who currently presents PVO NewsHour from 7-8pm Mondays to Thursdays will move to 12:00pm – 4:00pm on PVO NewsDay.
On Twitter he said, “I wanted to start spending evenings with my kids as they grow up & Sky kindly obliged with the new role. Nothing changes with The Aust.”
A new political program To the Point, featuring former NSW Premier Kristina Keneally will also air at lunchtime.
A two hour program, Reporting Live with Stan Grant will air Monday – Thursdays from 6:00pm.

It’s a shame Sky News haven’t filled the 7pm hour with something new and fresh. Perhaps they will in time.
Sound bites of news are ubiquitous on everybody’s phones and tablets these days Op-ed is something you can create in your own time, and own that can’t just be rereported in 140 characters of misinformation.
4 hours of opinion in the daytime 12pm-4pm.
Obviously reacting to what rates well on Sky.
Not 30 minute news wheels – but opinion and talking heads.
