Wolf Hall author Hilary Mantel is about to have another novel adapted for television.

1992 French revolution novel A Place of Greater Safety is currently in early development by the DNA for the BBC.

Digital Spy reports the book is based on Georges Danton, Camille Desmoulins and Maximilien Robespierre’s involvement in the French Revolution.

The script is being written by Richard Warlow, creator and writer of Ripper Street..

Wolf Hall‘s executive producer Colin Callender has also said that he is “eager” to work on a sequel.
