Outlander ups the ante

Yikes. Had to watch some of those scenes through my fingers.

Just when you thought Outlander couldn’t get any better, the penultimate series episode becomes totally twisted.

The violence was so confronting I had to watch some of those scenes through my fingers.

But I sure didn’t see some of the perverse drama that was coming, either.

It was harrowing stuff.

Now we have a two week wait until the finale, due to a holiday in the US next week.

That’s a long time for Jamie left at the hands of the Black Jack.

  1. Jack Randall’s sadistic and cruel nature has been evident all along – however it has crossed a line for me as I was enjoying the feel-good aspects of this series – now we are confronted by pure evil. Game of Thrones is crossing lines as well, but we are little more prepared for it I guess.

  2. The first series of Outlander has been outstanding. Having read several of the books I knew what was coming but still found it difficult to watch. The creators have done a brilliant job bringing the books to life. Tobias McKenzie (Black Jack Randall) is mesmorising. Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s chemistry is excellent. Be warned, the final episode will also be graphic.

  3. I thought it went from mills and boons to fan fiction? and i am guessing that is what fan fiction is as i have never bothered reading any!

  4. What a vile, perverted creep is Black Jack! I hope he gets what he deserves very quickly – and before we hit the finale! Does anyone know when the next series starts????? Please don’t say it’s next year!!!!

  5. The book is fairly graphic, apart from adding a few twists and subplots they are following it fairly closely.
My sister bought the book years ago, but didn’t make it to the end.

  6. Yeah I watched it, it was off and was rubbish. It was just a filler and felt like it wasted my time so the writer could get his twisted fix, the writers need to get help there not right in the head, should of cut half the ep and have the escape, but no just another filler after last week now we have a two week break, what gives
